Background of the Mosseltoernooi
The Mosseltoernooi is an underwater hockey tournament that has been held for many years in Dordrecht. OSCD organises the event, and the volunteers make the day run smoothly. The history goes back, so far that the actual start of this annual event is unclear. One source states that the first Mosseltoernooi was in 1988, while in 2019 the 40th annual Mosseltoernooi was celebrated. In 2012 the Mosseltoernooi going international for the first time was celebrated, 4 years after the previous celebration of the Mosseltoernooi going international.
An attempt is made to recreate a list of winners from the historical records. As you might guess, we are looking for more information, so if you have any, please let us know!
